On the 6th February we had the most fabulous Kenya Day. Each class teacher prepared a different Kenyan themed activity and the children travelled around to each class to take part. We had Kenyan drumming and dancing, storytelling and crafts, Maasai necklace making as well as a safari experience with Mrs Humphrey. In EYFS the children learnt an African song with Mrs Law, learnt about and played with some African animals in the small-world corner and made rice shakers to make some African music. We have sent some photos off to Rungu Primary School for our friends in Kenya to see.
